VANILLA SYRUP

2/3 C WHITE SUGAR

1/3 C BROWN SUGAR

PINCH SALT

1 C WATER

3 TBSP VANILLA EXTRACT

  • COMBINE WATER, WHITE SUGAR, AND BROWN SUGAR AND STIR A LITTLE
  • WAIT UNTIL ALL SUGAR IS DISSOLVED THEN BOIL IN LOW HEAT FOR 20 MINS
  • LET COOL FOR 30 MINS
  • ADD VANILLA EXTRACT

PEPPERMINT SYRUP

  • ¾ C SUGAR
  • 1 CUP WATER
  • 2 TSP PEPPERMINT EXTRACT
  • 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  • COMBINE SUGAR AND HALF OF THE WATER UNTIL DISSOLVED; DO NOT STIR
  • WHEN BUBBLING A BIT, ADD REMAINING WATER AND BOIL FOR 5 MINS
  • LET COOL FOR 10 MINS
  • STIR IN PEPPERMINT AND VANILLA

SALTED CARAMEL SYRUP

  • 1 C WHITE SUGAR
  • 1 C WATER
  • 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  • ¼ TSP SALT
  • CARAMELIZE SUGAR IN LOW HEAT; DO NOT STIR
  • REMOVE FROM HEAT ONCE DISSOLVED AND ADD WATER
  • STIR UNTIL CARAMELIZED SUGAR IS DISSOLVED
  • LET COOL FOR 15 MINS
  • STIR IN VANILLA AND SALT

PEPPERMINT SYRUP

  • ¾ C SUGAR
  • 1 CUP WATER
  • 2 TSP PEPPERMINT EXTRACT
  • 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  • COMBINE SUGAR AND HALF OF THE WATER UNTIL DISSOLVED; DO NOT STIR
  • WHEN BUBBLING A BIT, ADD REMAINING WATER AND BOIL FOR 5 MINS
  • LET COOL FOR 10 MINS
  • STIR IN PEPPERMINT AND VANILLA

NOTED  SHAKE BEFORE USE

PANDAN SYRUP
  • 500G WHITE SUGAR
  • 500ML WATER
  • 4 PANDAN LEAVES TIED INTO KNOTS
  • BOIL WATER WITH LEAVES
  • ONCE BOILING, LOWER HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 3 MINS
  • AKE PANDAN LEAVES OUT AND ADD THE SUGAR; DO NOT STIR AND BRING TO BOIL
  • TURN OFF THE HEAT WHEN ALL SUGAR IS DISSOLVED
  • PUT LEAVES BACK UNTIL COOL
